  • Most Versatile Talent for Ibu Mertuaku ( My Mother In-law)- Tenth Asian Film Festival, Tokyo (1963)
  • Best Comedy Film for Madu Tiga (Three Wives)- Eleventh Asian Film Festival, Taipei (1964)
  • Third Place for Singing Competition Penang Radio (1945)
  •  Singing Contest Champion for Keronchong Penang (1946)
  • Star Tempest Malaya- Indonesia (1951)
  • 'Best Actor', 'Best Film' (Antara Senyum dan Tangis/ The Smile and Tears), ' Tempest Film' (Juwita) (1952)
  • Artist Year 1953, Best Film Hujan Panas/ Hot Rain (1953)
  • Man Radio Star (1953)
  • Artist of The Year, Best Director, Best Song Composer, Best Male Vocalist, Best Film (Semerah Padi), Second Best Film (Anakku sazali/My Son Sazali) (1956)
